Barbie launches new doll with hearing aids 芭比推出首款戴助聽器的娃娃

This new Barbie doll with hearing aids is part of toy manufacturer Mattel's drive to make the dolls more inclusive.

這款戴助聽器的新芭比娃娃是玩具制造商美泰公司推動(dòng)其產(chǎn)品更具包容性計(jì)劃的一部分。

British actor Rose Ayling-Ellis, who has been deaf since birth, helped create the new addition to this famous toy.

英國演員羅絲·艾靈·艾利斯從出生起就失聰，她幫助創(chuàng)造了這個(gè)著名玩具系列的新成員。

"Barbie used to be my favourite toy ever. And I actually drew a hearing aid onto my doll. So now we got a doll that has a hearing aid."

Eliza has severe hearing loss and wears two hearing aids.

Hearing aids and wheelchair aside, the new series also includes Ken with vitiligo and Barbie with a prosthetic limb.

除了戴助聽器和坐輪椅的芭比娃娃外，新款系列中還包括了患白癜風(fēng)、名為肯恩的娃娃和裝人工義肢的芭比娃娃。

Mattel says it wants to ensure children from different backgrounds feel represented.
