Oh, lucky Neil. Two weeks doing nothing - sitting on the beach in the sun, eating ice-cream. Wonderful!

Feifei
Oh, Neil won't be sitting on any beaches. He's going to help teach English at a school in Spain.

Rob
What? He's gone to Spain to do the same work he does here – that's a bit of a busman's holiday, isn’t it?

Feifei
“A busman’s holiday 一位公車司機(jī)的假期”？Neil 又不是公車司機(jī)。Neil’s job isn't driving buses, Rob.

Rob
No, Feifei – a busman's holiday is a holiday where you do the same thing you do at work instead of just having a rest.

Feifei
原來，在英語里，“a busman’s holiday”是指“一個(gè)照常工作的節(jié)假日”，也就是說雖然在休假但仍然做一些與自己平日上班做的類似的工作。That’s a strange choice, isn't it, Rob?

Rob
It is, but he's not the only one. Listen to these examples.
